The Benton County Conference Board is seeking individuals for appointment as a member to the Board of Review for a one-year period. The Board of Review is an independent, three-member board, which will be increasing to a five-member board for a one-year period. Their primary duty is to hear and act on protests to the assessment of real property. Residency in Benton County, Iowa is a requirement. Experience in farming, real state, or construction/architecture would be desirable. The Board of Review meets during the month of May, each year, and at other times as required by law.
