Integrated Roadside Vegetation Management
Benton County's Integrated Roadside Vegetation Management (IRVM) program is housed in the Secondary Roads Department. IRVM utilizes native vegetation along with appropriate techniques to produce a cost-effective, environmentally-sound management alternative to roadside weed and erosion control. These techniques include prescribed fire, prescribed mowing and spot spraying herbicides. To find out more about IRVM, click here!
