Naturalist Intern
Description
Duties include animal care and nature center cleaning. Other job duties include, but are not limited to: general area maintenance consisting of mowing, trimming, painting, light construction, litter control, restroom and facility cleaning, trail maintenance and other duties as assigned. Working some weekends, evenings, and holidays may be required.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Ability to operate mowers, chain saws, and small hand tools is a plus. Applicants may work in adverse conditions and must be able to handle strenuous physical activities. Preference will be given to applicants working towards a degree in the Natural Resources or related field.
Work Expectations
32-40 hours per week, April to September with flexible start and end dates.
