The Benton County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications for the Benton County Veterans Affairs Commission. This is a three-member commission that provides guidance and oversees operations of the Benton County Veterans Affairs Department. This position is a 3-year term beginning June 30, 2024 and does require an applicant to be a veteran. This is a paid position with potential for mileage reimbursement. The commission meets once a month in Vinton and may have additional meetings or training when needed.  Benton County appreciates diversity in these appointments and welcomes all applicants at least 18 years of age or older.
