Road Work and Closures
**Effective Wednesday, June 19, 2024, 16th Avenue will be closed to through traffic between 52nd Street and 53rd Street for a bridge replacement. This project is expected to last approximately three months.
**Effective Monday, July 8, 2024, 17th Avenue will be closed to through traffic between 66th Street Drive and 68th Street for a bridge replacement. This project is expected to last approximately three months.
**Effective Wednesday, Juy 31, 2024, 32nd Avenue will be under construction from Shellsburg north to the Cedar River Bridge. The road will be open to one-lane traffic but expect delays.
**Effective Wednesday, August 7, 2024, 61st Street Lane from Vinton to the Linn County line will be under construction. The road will be open to one-lane traffic but expect delays.
**Effective Thursday, August 8, 2024, 63rd Street will be closed to through traffic between 21st Avenue and 21st Avenue Drive for a bridge replacement. This project is expected to last through the end of September.
