RFP - DESIGN AND ENGINEERING SERVICES – HANNEN LAKE RESTORATION

The Benton County Conservation Board (BCCB) is seeking a qualified consultant for assessing potential watershed and lake restoration practices to improve water quality, infrastructure, habitat, and recreational opportunities associated with the restoration of Hannen Lake, located within the Hannen Lake Park at; 1949 Benton/Iowa Road, Blairstown, IA 52209. The selected firm may also be retained to provide engineering and planning services for additional phases of work, if desired. The selected firm will be working for the BCCB in consultation with project partners from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) Lake Restoration and Fisheries programs. The scope of work for this RFP includes a watershed assessment to determine feasibility of restoring existing BMPs, assessing the feasibility for installing additional BMPs to minimize sediment and nutrient loading to the lake, and assessing current lake conditions and recommending strategies for restoring Hannen Lake.
