The draft Benton County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan is now available for public review and feedback. This is the FEMA required five-year plan update. The hazard mitigation planning process identifies hazards that could impact Benton County and ways to reduce the risks of those hazards in order to save lives and protect property. This plan update is being completed by Emergency Planning & Consulting, LLC and the Benton County Emergency Management Commission. The public is encouraged to review the plan and provide comments.
