About
Welcome! As the Director of Benton County Public Health, it is an honor & a privilege to live and work in Benton County. With 15 unique and charming towns, multiple robust public and private school systems, and a variety of industries functioning within our county, there is someone, something or somewhere new to see each day. Located in the county seat of Vinton, IA, Benton County Public Health operates within the Benton County Service Center at 811 D Ave., which hosts a multitude of other social service providers.
We are a small but mighty department, and enjoy any and all opportunities to be part of community-facing activities! We have had representation at the Benton County Fair, National Night Out & Progressive Agriculture Day over the past few months, as well as the Benton County Service Center Open House. BCPH also is part of many community committees & coalitions, including but not limited to the Benton County Disaster Relief Coalition, the Benton County Suicide Prevention Coalition, the Benton County Opioid Taskforce, & the Benton County Above the Influence Coalition, among others.
BCPH looks forward to bringing new & enhanced community health programming to individuals and families throughout Benton County. We invite you to call, email or stop by our office to learn more about how public health is working in the spaces you live, work and play!
Here's to a happier, healthier tomorrow - together.
