No appointment needed. Check in at the front enterance registration desk at Virginia Gay Hospital and ask to see Linn County Public Health. Please call 319-521-3068 with any questions. Screening is free and confidential. HIV, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia screening (results in 20minutes).

HIV Testing Resources

The following agencies and pharmacies offer free and confidential HIV testing services to all Iowans. Each agency provides client assessment and counseling services to help determine an individual’s risk for acquiring HIV. Referral to additional prevention services and linkage-to-care services for individuals who might test positive for HIV, are also available. For information on specific services, costs, and hours, please contact each location directly.
